On the afternoon of November 10th, Ni Shoubin, a professor and doctoral supervisor of Tongji University's Shanghai Institute of International Intellectual Property, chief legal adviser of the headquarters of Green Technology Bank, and dean of the research institute, was invited to give a lecture on legal practice entitled "Green Finance: System and Products" in the lecture hall of the library of Hongqi Campus. More than 200 teachers and students of our college listened to the lecture, which was presided over by Bo Xiang, president of our college.

In the lecture, Ni Shoubin introduced the practice and institutional evolution of green finance in China, the carbon border adjustment mechanism of the EU's Green New Deal, the carbon market and carbon quota, and the ESG concept from the background of China's green development, focusing on the paradigm shift and theoretical reconstruction of green finance, and expounding it from three aspects: international and domestic perspectives and China's green industry standards. He pointed out that green development is related to the fate of mankind. China has implemented the five development concepts and actively promoted the realization of the goal of "double carbon", but it still faces its own development and numerous international pressures. Carbon finance is a part of green finance. Through carbon market and carbon quota, enterprises can be promoted to carry out technological reforms. Sustainable development is not only a beautiful imagination, but also a new idea to change commercial law again.

In conclusion, Bo Xiang said that this lecture not only enabled us to deeply understand the frontier issues of green finance development, but also broadened our horizons, allowing us to pay attention to the changes in the situation and assume social responsibilities.
